Ronnie's 1st "Eliza Jane Smart" Tote Bag with Slip Cover On

The plain "Autumn Leaves" fabric on the "Eliza Jane Smart" Tote Bag
I went to Spotlight yesterday (25/3/06) to get more handles - the bug has bitten and am mad keen now to make bags - this is such a fabulous size bag - 11" high x 15" x 4" across the base with 6 internal pockets. The handles are permanent on this version but the option is open for changeable handles too. The pattern is available on my web site at www.sew-happy.com.
Whilst in Spotlight I was approached by 2 ladies who asked about the bags as I was carrying both (pictured) and a stack of lovely handles - I gave out two business cards and then chatted with the ladies at the sales counters about this fabulous new concept of "changeable covers and handles".
The "Eliza Jane Smart" Tote Bag is fabulous in itself as it has 4 diffent views on the pattern for 4 different looks. You could make lots more adaptable ideas from this pattern. Obviously I was very proud to say that I am importing the patterns and, to date, no-one else in Australia has them for sale here.
I can make the Tote Bag in colour choices of your own if you wish and my prices are quite reasonable. I can't quote a price as every bag is a little different, e.g. fabric cost, closure requirements, handles - and they're not so cheap, etc. So if you like the look of the "Eliza Jane Smart" tote bag please email me at info@sew-happy.com and we shall work out what you need and want with your own Tote bag.
Then off I went to visit my parents yesterday after shopping around in Spotlight and both my Mum and Sister showed a big interest in the Tote Bag. Looks like a few birthday pressies on the agenda now.

I hope you like it as much as I do.
Hugs
Ronnie

Ronnie! they're FANTASTIC!
That camel one plus slip cover is the bees knees! I like the idea of being able to change handles too!
You're on a winner I reckon!
