Ronnie at Kyneton Artist's Market 11th March, 2006

Hi Everyone !!

I've been a little on the busy side lately and, as a lot of you already know, I tried my hand at a craft market in the hope that I could promote my web site, the fabric bowls, boxes and bags, a few quilts I'd like to sell. I also sold choccies, soap, lavender and pot pouri bags at $2.50 each for the Halls Gap Charity Quilt Blocks Fundraiser to buy Autumn tone fabrics for our sewing group. We raised $27.00.

The pic above shows that the table is full of small items for sale as I've been busy making these for about 6 weeks to bring in a few "less expensive" items. Of course I had Mum's knitted coat hangers and some fabric (FQ's) and sewing notions for two friends who had both closed their shops. I only sold a few of my own items, the fundraiser was quite successful so am off to Spotlight for the fabrics on Wednesday.
I sold heaps for Mum and everyone else and earned myself $20.25 - then deduct from that the fuel and a cold drink - obviously I don't think I'll do another market too soon, except that I have lots of stock so maybe I should - who knows !! On top of all that the wind and dust was annoying and I was wearing a hat, sunnies and SP30 protection and still got burnt, maybe windburn. I'm OK now - two days later.
Hugs to all
Ronnie
