LOOK AT ALL THESE CHARITY QUILT BLOCKS
ARRIVED 7th April, 2006
Ladies I am excited to tell you of the 8 blocks received today. 7 in the mail and Wendy's block at my sewing group. A special thanks to those who have supported their friends like Spooky's sewing group friends Barbara O'Brien and Elizabeth Rees. These blocks received were not expected and have been a thrill to receive such lovely work with complimentary little notes attached. The notes will be sent onto the Stawell Quilters Group who, as you know by now, are compiling the quilts for those in need.
Barbara O'Brien (Numurkah) Charity Quilt Blocks.
Barbara I do hope that you get to read my thanks to you and your sewing group friends. I really just don't have time to put pen to paper and thank the 30-40 people who have individually donated their time and fabrics to this worthy cause. Here's hoping Spooky will give you the link to this blog so that I am sure you receive the thanks you deserve. Much appreciated.

Wendy Hansted's Charity Quilt Blocks
Thanks Wendy for your efforts at sewing group today.

Linda's Charity Quilt Blocks (WA)
Linda another big thanks to you. 4 blocks is very generous and I know how much work you have on with all the swaps you are in. The fabrics are gorgeous and so is that "peachy gold crackle" border. Is that Spotlight fabric - I need some for my peachy stash.

Miss-Nance's Charity Quilt Blocks
Thanks Gail (Miss Nance from our forum friends) for your beaut block. I'm sorry I got them mixed up - all fixed now. That probably happened at sewing group today when my mail is put in for "show and tell". Is that Thimbleberries fabric used in the centre and border? Gorgeous.
Hugs
Ronnie
